A Note from our New COO

Dana Anaman joined the team on Monday, September 29, as NABL’s new Chief Operating Officer.

As I complete my first week at NABL, I’m incredibly honored and excited to step into the role of Chief Operating Officer. It’s a privilege to build on the strong foundation laid by Linda Wyman and to be part of an organization with such a rich legacy.

NABL’s long-standing commitment to serving municipal finance lawyers through high-quality education, advocacy, and connection drew me to this role. I’m committed to honoring this legacy while also exploring new opportunities to innovate, expand our impact, and meet the evolving needs of our members.

I bring 18 years of experience working with associations and a focus on marketing, membership growth, and operations. Most recently, I served as COO of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) and as Executive Director of PIA of Florida, a PIA affiliate. My work has consistently centered around enhancing member satisfaction, growing programming, and strengthening organizational revenue.

As I begin this journey with NABL, my immediate focus is to listen, learn, and connect with our members. I firmly believe our greatest strength is you, our engaged and passionate community, and I’m eager to hear your ideas, feedback, and experiences.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at danaman@nabl.org or 202-503-3306. I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you for your continued support of NABL.

Sincerely,

Dana Anaman, CAE, MBA

The 50th Workshop: Building Bonds for Our Future

For five decades, this conference has been the premier gathering for public finance professionals at every level, bringing together the nation’s leading municipal bond, tax, and securities attorneys to strengthen professional relationships, exchange ideas, and advance the practice of public finance law. We are excited to be back in Chicago, where it all began, for The Workshop 2026 on October 14 to 16.
