Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that Dana Anaman will join the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) as our new Chief Operating Officer, effective September 29, 2025. Dana will succeed longtime COO Linda Wyman, who will continue with NABL in the coming months to help facilitate the transition.

Dana brings over 18 years of leadership experience in association management, specializing in marketing, membership growth, and operations. Most recently, she held dual roles as Chief Operating Officer at the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) and as Executive Director of PIA of Florida, a PIA affiliate.

With proficiency across strategic operations, stakeholder engagement, and member-focused programming, Dana is well-positioned to advance NABL’s mission of promoting the integrity of the municipal market. We are confident that she, alongside NABL’s Chief Policy Officer, Brian Egan, will continue the collaborative leadership to strengthen our member services and expand our impact within the municipal bond community.

Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations from Radford University in Radford, VA, an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).

We hope you will join us at The Workshop, September 10-12, 2025, at The Marriott Marquis, Washington, DC, to welcome Dana Anaman to NABL.

Sincerely,

M. Jason Akers
