Meet the Speaker

Tammy Briant Spratling is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida’s College of Education. She previously served as the CEO of Community Tampa Bay, a nonprofit dedicated to building inclusive communities through leadership and dialogue across differences. Tammy received her JD from Stetson University College of Law and previously served as an Assistant State Attorney. With extensive experience in higher education and inclusive leadership design, she specializes in creating environments that foster a sense of belonging, ethical leadership, and resilience. Tammy’s work bridges nonprofit leadership and educational practice, focusing on how curiosity, connection, and community care support holistic wellness. She brings a practical, human-centered approach to helping professionals navigate high-pressure environments with clarity, integrity, and compassion – while never abandoning their personal values.
