Attorney
Hardwick Law Firm LLC is seeking a highly skilled transactional and bond attorney to support the firm’s public finance practice.
The attorney will support issuers, underwriters, borrowers, and financial institutions in a wide range of public finance transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to manage complex matters with minimal oversight. The candidate will have a minimum of five to seven years of transactional attorney experience in public finance, municipal law, or a related transactional practice.
They should bring a strong background serving as bond counsel to municipalities, school districts, public agencies, higher education institutions, and healthcare organizations, along with a solid understanding of securities laws, tax‑exempt financing, and municipal market practices. The attorney’s responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key transaction documents, including bond resolutions, indentures, loan agreements, offering documents, and closing certificates. The attorney will manage all aspects of the transaction lifecycle, from structuring through closing.
The role requires someone who is comfortable navigating a wide range of finance issues, works effectively as part of a collaborative team, and can manage multiple projects with sound business judgment. Exceptional drafting and analytical abilities, paired with clear and confident communication skills are essential.
The attorney will serve as the firm’s primary or secondary attorney for matters arising in one or more of the following states:
- NY, PA, CT, NJ
- MO, TX, CA
