Local Government Caselaw
This website database is provided free of charge by the National Association of Bond Lawyers as a public service and consists of case briefs published in Local Government Law Weekly, generally from the early 1990s on. Updates are posted monthly; and word search capability is by "Control f" and use of the "Find" feature at the top of the search result.
Search topics do not include those involving municipal borrowing. Those are reserved to NABL members. NABL membership information appears elsewhere on this website.
Some citations refer to temporary, non-existent volume and page numbers for cases not fully citable when briefed. Cases are only of reported decisions; and, other than for federal appellate opinions, cases have for some topics been selectively included. Cases briefed here may have been withdrawn, vacated, or reversed before publication in the official reports.
